![]() ![]() It works like a charm, it checks every 30 seconds to see if a mod was updated, and allows us to schedule a restart and let users get to a safe place (like so), along with an in game message. It's used to tell if we need to restart the server in case of a workshop mod update. I've written a small program that parses steam's workshop. Harder to parse what workshop items are currently used in the server (more below) Wasted space on servers if they commonly try out different mods, or just disable one and never re-enable it. ![]() This is not a huge issue, except it means: When a mod is added to the `WorkshopItems` in the main server ini file, the workshop item is auto downloaded on start up.Įxcept, when a mod is removed from that list, it stays inside the `appworkshop_108600.acf` file, and the mod is still installed on the host.
